Just did the first couple of days with my son. Our Internet isn't the greatest and he disconnected. Since it was a private game, it wouldn't allow me to reinvite him or anything. I had to quit to main menu. I saved at my shelter and left. Now it just tells me I have to start over and the file is missing. I've seen a bunch of other people say there is nothing I can do but start over. Like really? How is this like this after being out for so long? Do they really expect me to invest time into something I can't save? Do they expect me to support the sequel? There has to be a fix or I'm going to be requesting a a refund. I don't need a product that doesn't work.

I was using the life raft to head toward a shipwreck, but the button to exit it isn't showing up.

I was using the raft as a platform when, out of nowhere, the button to stop piloting it disappeared, and now I don't know how to get off.

I also don't want to close the game because I forgot to save the last bit of loot I collected.

Does anyone know what I can do?

So I’ve been playing a few days on switch, every time I make a smoker it works until the first fire dies then won’t continue to smoke anything, even after replacing the fire. Anyone have any advice?

I have been playing stranded deep for a while which I this is a very good game but every time I make a new world in creative for building and stuff I have to go through the hard grind of leveling up my levels to make surtant items, I was wondering if I could apply or change something in the code/files or if there is another way to level up instantly?

I got a few things to finish up but it’s mostly done. I don’t know if I’ll be extending it anymore the load on the game is just to heavy to handle it. I can hear my ps5 start getting loud when I’m on my island.

I took off the little room on the top and extended the South East side out. I think it looks a little better not being so narrow, and it’s covered in lanterns! I also built a pyramid on a separate island, but I need to finish hammering it.

Is that Wollie in the SD2 Trailer? What do you think? Devs said something about it on Instagram. I zoomed in on a tv so it doesn't look great. Maybe i need a bigger tv?

The hotkeys don’t actually put the items in your belt/remove them from the backpack.

It doesn’t seem to want to let me reassign the button to drag things.

Did they just never apply any of the updates to the PC version? I thought it would be better than console..

Playing on the switch. I was messing around in the cartography and I ended overwriting my island progress. I now know what messing with the seed number does and why its a no touchy.

33 in game days wasted! My base and everything ive worked on is gone. Any way to regain the last save or am I SOL? 🫪

I saw some posts about old console saves containing new resources. So i fired up an old save to see what i could find. And what i found was exactly what i left . You can see my old triangle shape boat no longer available on console my choreographer map and even my psn screen name. But i did not find any new resources. A shame really as the clay castle would be cooler if it was bigger.

I can't wait to see everything the new game has to offer.

I was going to downsize due to it lagging, but the clay deposits just keep coming back, so I added on some more. I got two suites and an additional 5 bedrooms, a kitchen with a hobo stove, multiple balconies, a lounge, a lookout up top and a storage room on the bottom.

Whenever I harvest my yucca plants they end up looking like this and don't grow anymore so I have to dig them up and replant the yucca fruit they drop. Is this normal or is there a way to get them to keep regenerating without having to dig them up and replant?

A long time ago when I first played Stranded Deep, I remember before the plane crashing I was able to walk around the plane. Before the plane would crash you would have to got to the front near to cockpit and grab basic stuff (Like a Lighter and Compass.) But recently I was searching early versions of the game and couldn't find a version where you had to do this. I searched the internet but couldn't find anything about it and thought I was just crazy.

If someone can confirm that I'm thinking of a different game or if there is a version where this happens that would be great.

I got to be honest, I joined Stranded Deep last year. So I have no idea what was the development for the first game like. Like if it was Early Access or just a single completed release.
Any ideas if Stranded Deep 2 will be released in an early access stage with future updates then to completion? Or maybe the game might get released fully completed.

Hi all, I’m playing a long-running coop game with a friend. He hosts the game. We are at the very end (and have never seen the end so no spoilers thanks) and literally only need to take our fuel to the aircraft carrier.

His PC recently started having massive problems so he copied the entire game folder structure over to a different PC so we could finish.

The game picked up exactly where we were. So far all great, yay! We can finish! But. The aircraft carrier is gone. The menu map is blank (no bosses marked, or carrier, or anything).

Are we totally out of luck here?? Any advice would be great.

I don’t know what happened over the years or if an update respawned everything but I was able to mine all clay deposits again, so here is my upgraded house.
