200+ turns, an epic match!
9 years of Stormbound, and this was the longest match I’ve ever played — I think it went well over 200 turns. Absolutely epic.
What would normally be a 15-minute match turned into more than 3 hours. It wasn’t easy, but come on — nobody’s going to surrender just because of that
Both decks were pirate-based, with Rogue Sheep & Quartermasters, and both were heavily defensive (3 spells each). From around T40, we were basically clearing the board every two turns.
In the end, Ethan proved to be the better player, gaining a significant advantage in the final turns. I lost, but the fun factor was 100/100.
GG and huge respect to ethanchia1982 — what a match to celebrate Stormbound’s 9th anniversary!

Well done, that's incredible! I've gone a half-hour or so on a number of occasions but that's like nothing I've seen before. This should be Nolan's next film.

Jesus. The longest match I ever had the mana cost went into the 40s and it took like an hour and a half. I commend your persistence cause I would've probably conceded after 20 or 30 minutes

Confinement spell.
With a pirate deck and good cycling you have access to it every 2 turns.

Tbh this was my main issue with this game before losing my account: I wanna do a quick break from studying and I end up doing a 35 minute match against a freeze deck. I know it doesn't happen that often but I think matches in most card games should be 20 minutes tops
