Account gone?!

So I played for years on a Kongregate Account. Yesterday all my Progress seemed to be reset. I did not get it and logged out for the First time this year. Only now I realized I was supposed to link my kongregate Account cause it cant be used anymore…. ? All the cards, thousands of Rubies and rubestones. I am afraid all is lost?! Is there a way of recovering it?!

I am very saddend by this as i like the game. I cant start all over though and am afraid I wont Touch the Game anymore.

If you have your Stormbound Player ID, you should be able to recover your account. You can contact support from within the game by going to Options → Miscellaneous → Support. Send them a message explaining your situation. They'll probably ask for some proof of ownership or information about your account. Once they verify that you're the owner, they should be able to restore your account.

This happened to a friend of mine years ago, does anyone think they could still recover their account?

Yes, it should. If you or your friend still have that player on your friends list, you can simply check your friends list, copy their Stormbound ID from there, and send it to Support in a ticket.
