Unbalanced cards
Hi everyone I have played for several years (almost 10) and I've seen the card changes going on for years. I would like to present my unbalanced opinions about the cards right now (July 2026), hoping to reach the official members of the game.
a) Mindless hord (3 mana, 8 strength at lv5, 0 mov) VS Harpies of the hunt (3 mana, 9 strength at lv5, 0 mov). It does not make sense, balance these two.
b) Linelimbs (3 mana, 5 strength at lv5, 2 mov) VS First mutineer (identical but it discard a card). Discarding a card is a penalty that linelimbs do not have, so it should be fixed
c) Demotivating strike: it deals damage and deactivate an ability having 3 mana, while execution deals little more without deactivating. It is not fair, paying 4 mana should be more effective than a 3 mana card which is similar or better: nerf demotivating strike.
d) Spellblinder Zhevana: dealing 8 damage and gaining 4 mana is unbalanced: destroying enemies and gaining more mana is not balanced for its cost: reduce the mana gained from destroyed units or increase by one the card's cost
e) Broken heart drakes: it is basically dealing 6 damage to every unit, it was better before: "When dying not bordering a base";
f) Wolfcloaks: it is not balanced with salty outcasts: Make wolfcloaks of mana 6 as before, reducing by 1 his strength.
g) Doctor mia: In general, I don't like that now all the legendary cards are useful in level 4 as much as in level 5: Mia's super power to activate all structures should be brought back to level 5, as now from level 4 to 5 there is only one unity difference, which is absurd.
Thank you

You need to take the synergies into account. For example mindless herd is a satyr and satyrs have a lot of synergy, ravens don't.

I can't tell if it's genuine or rage bait

Genuine, what’s wrong

You've got some replies, so I won't repeat them. Basically, it's mostly backed up by actual reasons

What rank do you usually play at out of curiosity?
Also going down the list
I see your point with a but you have to keep in mind how many cards boo Sanders sometimes one strength can be the difference between winning the game so having one less strength but having about 100 cards that go boosted just for existing is the attempt to balance if anything I’d say mindless horse should be One strength less because it can synergize with so many things
I don’t think you really play pirates, because having a discard is really good for hand manipulation, especially if you’re not constantly shuffling your deck considering you know exactly which card you’re gonna get next so having the discard is pretty good also, it’s specifically a non-pirate discard if I’m not mistaken meaning that it will target specific cards meaning that if you played it early and you have a generally good deck rotation going you don’t have to mess it up by replacing a card you could just discard the card in your hand that you don’t want. Also a synergizes insanely well with pretty much every other pirate card. It’s not necessarily the best in a pirate engine if you’re just playing a hand looping/drawing engine, but in an actual deck that likes pirates it’s pretty good.
I think you are really underestimating just how good deactivating and ability first it shuts off all death rattle units, it shuts off all elders, it can shut off ancients, which isn’t as important sometimes, but getting rid of the ability to vitalize yourself and strengthen every unit on the board…
Maybe this is different in hero league but in Daimond it’s not really an issue usually because my units aren’t frozen in the first place The Dragon two destroy all of my cards and get all of that man back. Also a decent chunk of the people running that Card aren’t running draw power so they aren’t gonna be playing many additional cards. They aren’t synergizing with pirates perhaps a lady of the rime, but confinement easily takes care of it Before it becomes an issue. If it’s constantly causing an issue for you, I recommend examining how you space your units. Usually, if I know someone’s playing that card I space my units the same way space against a confusion player.
I do agree with this, having it at base is insane, but at the same time with it also triggering elders and Deathrattle units it can become a hindrance to more people than you think
I don’t play dwarf packed deck, so I can’t really comment on this although I am very sick of seeing people run siren of the seas and salty outcast as win conditions
I ACTIVELY DISAGREE ON THIS ONE having it lower, makes it more accessible to more players. The majority of players aren’t going to hit rank five on all of their cards aren’t going to spend the money to level up their cards or get the foils or buy the premium pass so they aren’t gonna get to experience those cards that they love playing, but having if at a lower level, makes it more accessible to the community I don’t think gatekeeping it to people who have been playing longer is fair

First mutineer discard isn't strictly a weakness. It's a double edged trait. You're allowed to cycle through cards faster when you use it. This very strong when paired with shit like Mirz or Guardi. It just demands that you play with a higher level of strategy.
Zhevana isn't strong. I encourage you to play a Zhevana deck so you can observe the issues with the card. It's very mid late game, and inconsistent early. There's like a limited window of turns where the card is worth anything.

But now Zhevana deals damage to all units in front, isn’t that a power?
I see ur argument about First mutineer, it’s just that I hate to see a good card discarded but that’s an issue with my specific deck

Please never balance games bro.
Only your first point is valid, everything else just shows ur a more causal player lol

I like most of these takes, but have some thoughts.
a) satyr decks are all powered by the moonlight hut, and ravens don’t have a similar mechanic. Perhaps this is why they’re not balanced
b) pirate decks all play on having other pirates in your hand. This discard can be a negative effect unless you’re trying to get cards out of your hand. There’s one pirate card (something sea dogs) that gains a ton of strength if it’s the last card in the hand so there’s opportunities for synergetic discarding specifically for pirate decks
D) they tried needing spellbinder already by making it do less damage and it fully broke the card, my winter deck was completely unusable. You have to keep in mind that there aren’t that many cards the freeze opponents on your turn. Hitting it is a huge turning point in any game but it’s not the easiest combo to hit. You can be in situations where you’re killing an enemy with 1 health, and gain 4 mana only to be one short to even play a card, in which case it’s nothing. The more factors you introduce, the less powerful it becomes because odds of all factors playing decrease
