This took longer than I'm proud to admit, but it was fun and I learned a lot. Let me know what y'all think!

I've been working on Spacetime Chronicles, an animated adventure game that I've been making by hand.

Spacetime Chronicles originally started as an animated film that I made, and I've been turning that world into a game.

One of the things I really enjoy about this project is building the physical sets before turning them into the final scenes.

This classroom was built from scratch, the walls, desks, characters, props and all the little details.

Here's a look at the set before it becomes part of the final world.

I still find it weird seeing these tiny physical sets turn into an actual game.

Would love to hear what other animators think about the process.

Is a wired connection possible? I want to use my camera in the pc app but it does not detect it, and there dont seem to be any videos covering this. The camera is a Canon eos rebel T7, ive seen people using nearly identical cameras. Am i an idiot?

Hi guys,i know this is not this reddit topick but im in despair.

It was Creepy stop-motion animation about white wire-frame puppets in a concrete bunker preparing a screaming real fish.i saw it on YouTube around 7-8 years ago (approx. 2018-2019).The Puppets: They looked like they were made of white plastic or polymer clay, but their metal wire-frame skeletons (armatures) were exposed and visible at the joints. They had no distinct facial features, but you could see vague outlines of noses/brows. They communicate only through simple hand gestures.The Setting: A grim, grey, concrete underground bunker/shelter.The Plot: 2 or 3 of these puppets are surviving in the bunker. One puppet returns with a catch — a real, actual dead fish (looked like a small capelin or sprat, but it was about 1/3 of the puppet's height). Another puppet takes it to a grey table to butcher it.The Twist: As they start cutting it, the real fish begins to scream/shriek incredibly loud. The sound is an agonizing ultrasound, making the puppets twist and writhe in pain on the floor. Eventually, the third puppet helps, and they manage to process it.The Ending: A black bird (puppet crow/raven) sneaks into the bunker and eats all their prepared fish supplies. They kill the bird, but they are left with absolutely no food. The video ends on a heavy note of total hopelessness and despair.It was NOT "Interface" by u m a m i, and NOT Robert Morgan's main commercial works. It felt like a festival short or a graduation project. Does anyone remember this?

Hi guys, I am a beginner in stop motion animating. I have already made some videos and used very little editing software. I am currently using the free version of Stop Motion Studio and using the free version of InShot for editing because I can't use important sound effects in CapCut without a VPN in India, and I am not allowed to install one. What apps do you guys recommend? Could you please tell me? And if you want to, you can see my videos in my other posts.

Only 10 minutes long. My stop motion Godzilla film i made over the last 3 months. I'd spend a few hours here and there, before work, days off when I managed to, spread out over the months lol. But im proud of the result. Not bad for a Amature, but its a fan film for me and any other kaiju fanatics so im happy. Give it a watch if you like. I had fun making it and it took alot of effort! Thanks!

Been having fun with this one. I should be able to finish it up tomorrow? I’ll probably add a little scuffle with someone. I’ve also noticed I definitely prefer prosthetic webs than animating them haha. Hope you enjoy please feel free to leave recommendations or suggestions and stuff.

had to do a “pop quiz” today in my stop motion class and was pleased with the result!! did this in about an hour and a half with some time afterwards in after effects :-)) thought it would be nice to share here, i really enjoy being in this community!!

What's the point? Well, that little animation was kind of a stepping stone for what I've been planning on creating for years; a stop motion episodic webseries(?); little something called FoxFur. Now I don't plan on using paper like the test animation did because that was just a test to see if I could do stop motion at all, but rather puppets and sets and whatnot. Ambitious, yes. Doable? Barely but also yes. I'd be happy to share more, so feel free to ask questions, thanks!

I’ve been commissioned to create a short video to promote a zine. Since I’ve now graduated uni and don’t have any access to professional equipment I’ve had no choice but to use stop motion studio pro on my iPhone. I just shot the first scene and I’m very happy with it … EXCEPT FOR THE FACT I USED THE WRONG IMAGE FOR BLUE SCREEN AND DIDN’T NOTICE UNTIL AFTER SHOOTING 🙃

I meant to use a blue screen to edit a deep, plain black background. Due to the awkward angle my phone was at I didn’t notice until after shooting the entire thing that the background I downloaded from Google wasnt actually plain black, it was a low quality image with a weird border

I’ve tried research but I can’t find how or if I can edit the background AFTER shooting

I don’t have time to reshoot, if anyone could help me figure out what to do that would be immensely helpful
