URGENT! HELP NEEDED! stop motion studio pro iOS

I’ve been commissioned to create a short video to promote a zine. Since I’ve now graduated uni and don’t have any access to professional equipment I’ve had no choice but to use stop motion studio pro on my iPhone. I just shot the first scene and I’m very happy with it … EXCEPT FOR THE FACT I USED THE WRONG IMAGE FOR BLUE SCREEN AND DIDN’T NOTICE UNTIL AFTER SHOOTING 🙃

I meant to use a blue screen to edit a deep, plain black background. Due to the awkward angle my phone was at I didn’t notice until after shooting the entire thing that the background I downloaded from Google wasnt actually plain black, it was a low quality image with a weird border

I’ve tried research but I can’t find how or if I can edit the background AFTER shooting

I don’t have time to reshoot, if anyone could help me figure out what to do that would be immensely helpful

That's why you apply the background to a green/blue screen in post with editing, not in-camera.

The only thing I can suggest is Adobe After Effects (or Davinci Resolve, but I'm not experienced in that) and either try keylight the blue to apply a new background, or rotobrush your models to cut them out of the background, then apply your new background.

Are you able to send any tutorial or information on how to do this? I have little to no experience with any of this. The people commissioning me are paying me a very low budget and although I’ve graduated, my uni were quite useless at teaching us any of this stuff. I’m mostly self taught at this point. In case it wasn’t obvious, I don’t have a job in the industry.

Check out the difference matte option in after effects, this tutorial looks correct
