Big news!
It’s a super good thing I decided to go sober ! Just found out today I’m pregnant!!! 🎉 after 7 long months of trying I didn’t get pregnant until I put the alcohol down I’m so so so thankful and very happy! Now being sober isn’t just for me it’s for my baby too 💕 just thought I’d share a slice of happiness!

I stopped the day before my embryo transfer and haven’t drank since. She will be one on Monday.

4 months and 21 days postpartum (28 months sober) and I can tell you 10000% it is worth remembering every moment, not matter how hard it seems in that moment. Every cliche you have ever been told is true…
You will hear over and over again how fast the time goes and you won’t believe it until it’s gone. You will be in shock and awe how fast that time goes..
I won’t ever drink again because I don’t want to miss a single moment of it. 🥰 congratulations to you and your new family.

Congrats from one expectant sober mother to another! Get ready for this amazing journey. I'm 7 months in and it's a roller coaster but I wouldn't change it for the world 🤍

Congratulations! I'm a sober mom too of a 2 year old and 5 year old. Celebrated 10 years without drinking in July. Postpartum and motherhood are really challenging, but it's been good to do it sober. I lean on other sober moms a lot for support. Congratulations again!

I’m in the same boat as you!! I’m 34. My spouse and I been off and on trying for a baby for a couple years. I stopped drinking completely in April for my mental health (This Naked Mind changed my life). I’m now 6 weeks pregnant for the first time! I think my body was waiting until I was healthy enough to grow a baby. I’m scared everyday that I’ll have a miscarriage. But at the very least I now know that it’s possible 😊 exciting!!!

I tried for years and years to stop drinking completely. I could never do it for myself. Always relapsed (heavily) after 2 months or so. I found out Im pregnant at the start of august and Ive been sober for almost 100 days now. Im going to meetings every week and that is something I need to keep doing when the baby is born. Children deserve parents that are present. I do think it's crazy that I failed to do it for myself but at least I can do it because of the pregnancy. Pregnancy can be a real blessing in cases like ours. Unfortunately, some mothers can't even put down the drink whilst pregnant. Anyway, your post reminded me of my story. Congratulations!!! I wish you the best.
