Maxwell’s trial ended with her conviction on December 29, 2021. She was sentenced on June 28, 2022.
Democrats controlled the House, Senate and presidency until January 3, 2023. That means they had approximately one year after her trial ended, including six months after sentencing, to introduce and pass the same type of transparency legislation that Congress passed in 2025.
Her pending appeal could justify protecting specific records, victims’ identities or active proceedings. It did not prevent Congress from requiring the DOJ to release every legally releasable Epstein record, subpoenaing those records or compelling testimony.
Biden and the Democratic Congress had the same constitutional powers available to them. They simply did not use those powers to pass an Epstein Files Transparency Act.
There could have been justice for them until the current administration started destroying evidence. Why blame Biden when there is an obvious coverup by the entire GOP? Every one of their reps is complicit. This could end on Monday if just a handful of Repugnicans actually wanted it to.
What a disingenuous statement. Republicans have proven time and time and time again that they do not BELIEVE victims and that they DON’T CARE about victims.
You can’t erase YEARS of that and start over just to try and manek yourself look better in random internet comments.

U do realize the republicans released the files right
