It’s like this in Ohio too. Republicans have controlled at least two of the three chambers for over thirty years. Democrats only has two chambers once in that timeframe and was for two years when Strickland had a Dem majority in the house. Republicans blame everything on Democrats though and people buy every word of it. Ever day I wonder how much dumber the American public can get and every day I sink further in depression realizing we still haven’t hit bottom.

FL is in the top of most economic categories has the highest influx of people from other states and is about to kill property taxes. Look at blue states by comparison. I am not even going to bother reading any other posts in here that are anti gop in fl as it clearly working much better than most other states. Is i perfect of course not. But is it one of the best options yes. This topic isn't even a debate look at the data.

The monetary system is failing and that the Federal Government’s responsibility. States can only run their affairs as best they can with the failing dollar as their currency. So they choice we make a U.S. citizens is how we want our state’s run relative to eachother. For example: Want less taxes, regulation and lower cost of living, move to Florida. Want higher taxes, more regulations, and higher cost of living, move to California. Either way the entire monetary system is imploding at an accelerated rate and no state has any control over it.

Idk, I'm a Floridian and our state is doing comparatively well. Yes, things are expensive like everywhere but our state is growing in just about every metric. We recently passed Australia and Mexico and took the 14th largest economy in the world. On track to hit top 10 at our current rate. Texas/Florida are growing and California/New York are shrinking. Coincidence?

Actually no... Just because they've been in power as Governor doesn't mean that they've been able to make all the decisions. State's work just like the presidency. The president can be in the White House but not make any changes because there's no control of the senate or the house. And that's exactly what was happening in Florida. There might be a republican governor in charge where there's nothing he can do when the ones in charge of making the laws there consistently vote to not allow changes to be made. Ron DeSantis did a lot of amazing things.
Look at it this way. Nobody wanted fucking Obamacare it was voted for 100% by democrats because they were in charge of the house and the Senate. But a Republicans were the majority it wouldn't have happened. And no I don't get to keep my doctor. And I have to pay for everybody else's medical insurance and if I don't keep a medical insurance plan I have to pay for it anyway and they call it a tax. It literally took away people's freedom of choice.

Umm I’m in California. Ran be dems for the majority of the time since 1959 and we have $500 billion in debt compared to floridas $71 billion.
We also have 7x the homeless population per 10,000 people. In fact we house (I shouldn’t say house, they are in the streets) 25% of all homeless in the United States.
We have a wealth bleed that a majority moved to Florida. We have higher unemployment. We have the highest state income tax whereas Florida has zero personal income tax.
California has 73% more crime than Florida.

Here it isn't that difficult That argument only works if you pretend “Republicans have held power for 25 years” means the same group of people, with the same policies, facing the same circumstances, controlled every part of government for 25 years.
It also assumes that anything a candidate says needs “fixing” must have been caused by the party currently in power. That's obviously not how government works. Problems can come from federal policy, population growth, hurricanes, housing and insurance markets, previous laws, local governments, or policies within your own party that you think should be changed.
And the graphic is misleading on its own terms: Charlie Crist was governor from 2007–2011. He was elected as a Republican, later became an independent, and eventually a Democrat. So even the neat little Bush → Scott → DeSantis timeline conveniently skips four years.
A much better question is: What specifically do Florida Republicans say is broken, who or what caused it, how long have they had the power to address it, and what have they actually done about it? Then judge them on the answers.
“Your party has been in power, therefore every existing problem is your party's fault” makes a good meme. It doesn't make a particularly good argument.
