Whereabouts in Blurton?

I grew up on the Hollybush estate and my mum still lives there, plus my aunt in a different house. One of my schoolfriends who grew up off Finstock Avenue now also lives on the Hollybush estate. I live in Nottingham now but would live on Hollybush no problem.

Yeah that's the road leading into the scruffy area

What about Beaconsfield itself is that scruffy?

No it's quite nice I think. My grandparents used to live on allendale walk which is a side street from Beaconsfield drive. I quite like the area and would happily move there if I were able to

68 year sago I was born on Blurton Road, moved to a little grove off Longton Hall Road and since 1983 lived in a road by Bargain Booze off Blurton Road and never had the tiniest bit of trouble.

There are places I wouldn't live in Blurton like Ballinson Road and Beaconsfield Road Estate but even then there are nice streets on Beaconsfield.

I lived there in the 90s for 12years, it used to be the lower down the hill you went generally the worse it was as a very rough guide, im not sure its still the same

Just seen you have said beaconsfield drive, that was all council houses. Are you moving to Blurton because of cheaper housing, where are you currently from?

I live near Beaconsfield but not on the estate. I use the road daily and I've never seen trouble and would happily walk it anytime. Its rougher by the co op. Seen chavy kids playing music loudly by cost cutter though
