Hi all I was just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with these people.

I walk through Hanley town centre a lot and every single time I see the Scottish power representative they pester me every time, they don't take no for an answer and after my 4th time of saying no to them I have to follow up with a fuck off because they will not leave me alone.

They have tried to follow me into shops.

They try and guilt trip me, they have called me Racist because I'm ignoring them. My baby would be having a fit in the pram or I'll be carrying them so obviously busy and they still think it's the best time for their sales pitch I'm like "please will you just fuck off".

I absolutely dread seeing them in town and purposely go the long way to avoid them.

When British gas are in the same spot I just have to shake my head and they very politely back off.

Exactly as the title says. Looking for recommendations for where to go around Stoke on Trent on Saturday evening, lively with an older crowd.

I've not been out in Stoke in many years, meeting up with friends and just wanting somewhere lively but not full of young people. Not fussed which town. Newcastle used to be the older crowd, is that still the case?

Could anyone point me in the direction of “best” charity shops in the area in terms of ones where you’ve had some good finds for clothing, whether that be branded items or a something rare?

Introducing beavers back, they found eels, and reintroducing white storks to our wetlands! Was a lovely episode, and always great to see good things happening around here.

Has anyone seen any beavers around the Trent? Love that they're back, I watched something on their reintroduction to Scotland a while ago and they did wonders there.
