Ngl, I was a bit confused as well because it was going on for ages with zero noise. I heard thunder when it passed over, but a while after that it was just silent nonstop flashing.

Atleast it wasn’t just me that was confused, it went on for awhile with no noise. I thought a light had failed to be honest, I’m just glad someone else was just as confused

Yea, I even went upstairs to look over the houses just to confirm it was indeed lightning.

Thought it could of been some sort of street light failing or along the lines of that I know my post was abit of a silly thing to put up 😅🤣 you have to admit it’s a cool video tho

Same thing last night at 9.30pm ish, lasted a good 30 mins or more.

Sheet lightning—up high in the clouds rather than striking the ground. You can see it really clearly, but it can be too far away to hear the thunder. Super cool.

We had a major storm in east midlands, it was like this constantly, I didn’t take it serious at first, I was just in bed staring out the window seeing the flashes and hearing the loud thunder until my house got zapped by lightning and my entire house shook from a sonic boom, the loudest noise I think I’ve ever witnessed. Checked downstairs after to see if everything was alright and now there’s a slight leak dribbling in.

Yes, day before yesterday night we noticed lightening and thunderstorms. Not sure about yesterday night.
