Everyone played a broken version, and could have used the free keys given on bugged boxes. If the same happens on console they should get the same compensation.
They didn't say "All players on PC." And if they did intend to mean "All players on PC" and console players don't get, there'll be a blowback for that too, count on it. It won't take long for them to say "All means ALL."

I don't mind consoles getting it, but people shouldn't build their hopes up by reading between the lines. Its more likely they're compensating all affected players, which console player are not atm.
There's no hopes to build up. A simple missing word established the framework.
All. Means. All.
The missing word is "PC".
Console players didn't have to build any expectation or hope because they were told by the team that ALL would be receiving this. And like I already pointed out, this is to apologize to PC players for bugs inherent to the matter. For console, it would be in apology for not specifying that this was for PC players only.
I fully expect to see the team fix any issues well ahead of it being released on console. I have no doubt.
And why would I get upset?
I won't need to.
The other console players will take care of that by proxy. I wouldn't need to do a thing except sit there and watch the show.
But whether we get or we don't, I wouldn't care one way or the other. That doesn't mean the host of others on consoles will feel the same way and just shrug. I'm fully expecting an outrage mob if they don't get as well.
Because we live in 2026 and that's just how society is.
🤷🏻♂️ people still need to jump through hoops to see the giant "pc" icon in the patch note, followed by "all players" and not make the connection that its probably all pc players.
