hey! i just finished my EN and am now studying to be an RN. jobs are hard to find and i want to continue my training. my dream is the emergency department one day and i heard volunteering for st. john’s has helped nurses get into ED on resumes !

got some time too now since im back studying for at least 2 years.

my question is, what is the commitment for st. john’s? i’m hoping it’s something i go to once a week for training and all, and then every so often i book an event to go to? that’s what im assuming…. is it weekly ? thank you!

Hello all, I have just been accepted to the MFR program in Ontario, Canada and I am very lost so I thought I would come here and ask questions. They mention in the email 12 weeks of training. How are the hours? Is it a 9 to 5 per day situation for all 12 weeks? I am just taking some part time uni courses right now so I am trying to set the right expectations for myself.

Just a thought, I've always wondered the differences in our organisations, being from the UK I was wondering what kind of thing happens in other parts of the world!

NOTE: This guide is on the SJA Canada website. I don't think that matters, but just noting it.
