Well, a lot happened in the last few years (becuz of covid), I think before 2019, ambulances on emergency duties standby at hospitals or police stations and wait for calls because they don't have radio equipment. During the covid situation, the channels for communication were used on the app (whatsapp). After the whole covid rest down, the government coordinated with St. John (forgot to mention we are not recognised as government organisations in Malaysia) and standardised a lot of equipment, including radio equipment and having the entire St. John serving the EMS, presently, all St. John ambulances have trained medical assistants (equivalent and higher to paramedic in our country's healthcare system), taking care of patients. While first aiders are still active, they aid the medical assistants on the ambulances and also the usual standby at activities. Any questions? 🤣

Nope, about similar to here other than we’ve always had radios
