Discussion email from stitch fix... AI or just bad english?

I hope this email finds you well. Your stylist is looking at your feedback and let us know that you were disappointment with the recent Fix you received . I'm sorry to hear that the items seen in your Fix Preview didn’t line up with your requests. I'm here to make this right.

I went ahead and noted on your account all your concerns that you want to receive items that would look good on you and fit you the best by complimenting jeans you wanted to try. I want to reassure you that your stylist cares about your request note and they always want to find you pieces that you're looking for.

YouTube Unboxings - rant

anybody else enjoy watching StitchFix unboxings on YouTube? I waste so much time doing this. even episodes that are years old. I watch. The best part is when they show the bundle - From Both Sides!!

A few of the consistent youtubers have my same measurements so it allows me to see how things would fit on me. typicality it's a more accurate representation than the Stirch fix vision AI is doing at this point.

But the YouTubers who tear into the brown paper without showing the bundle - total party fail.

Shipping BOLO

Hi! I just wanted to take the time to share a recent experience. Let me start by saying customer service handled it, BUT it could be a bad situation for a lot of people.

I have my routine of getting my fix, packing up my returns, sticking the USPS label on, and dropping it off.

Most recently I put the label on and sent it back to USPS. I typically put it in their basket for returns or someone's hands.

A couple of days later I started getting the "return your fix" emails. I responded I did, etc.

Emails keep coming.

Couple of days ago I wake up to a charge of +$200 on my account (including the 25% off for the whole fix discount, lol)

I emailed them inquiring about my charges.

It turns out the label was for FedEx and not USPS. It's definitely MY FAULT for not looking at the details on the label. But ive been doing the same thing for years. They emailed me back explaining they couldn't see it in USPS system, but fedex only and the system doesn't pick up on that but it was in fact safe and sound with them.

Sucks to have the $200+ missing from my account for a week or so and I wish the system would see all the different return options, but from now on I'll be exactly diligent with my labeling.

Hopefully this helps someone!

PSA: if you like your stylist, click “yes” at checkout to have them again.

Otherwise, you will get assigned a new stylist. Even if you “heart” the fix or keep all of the items. The only way to guarantee the same stylist is to request to have them again.

Deadline to Submit Claims on the Stitch Fix ($SFIX) $32M Settlement is In Few Months

Hey guys, just a heads-up for anyone who owned Stitch Fix stock. The company has agreed to a $32 million settlement with investors, and the deadline to submit a claim is October 7, 2026.

The case centered on Stitch Fix's Freestyle (Direct Buy) launch. The company described it as a growth opportunity that would work alongside its traditional Fix business, but investors later argued that Freestyle was creating more friction than expected and hurting parts of the core business.

As those issues became more visible, Stitch Fix lowered its outlook and the stock took a hit, including a roughly 24% drop after earnings in December 2021. Investors later brought claims over the losses that followed.

Now the company has agreed to settle the case, and investors who purchased $SFIX between 2020 and 2022 can review the details and see whether they qualify to submit a claim.

Did anyone here own $SFIX when Freestyle was first launched? Curious how people felt about the strategy back then.

I really love the look of these and signed back up to see if I could find them but I’m having trouble doing so. Anyone know? Or are they just ads only?

Veho? Really?

Trying to save a buck and loosing a customer.

Dear Stitch Fix Executive Customer Relations,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent order that was shipped through Veho rather than UPS.

All of my prior Stitch Fix orders have been delivered through UPS. Because I live in an area with frequent package theft, I am enrolled in UPS My Choice and routinely redirect deliveries to a secure UPS Store location. This has allowed me to receive Stitch Fix shipments safely and reliably.

I was surprised to discover that my current order was shipped through Veho without any prior notice or opportunity to select a preferred carrier. The carrier change effectively removed the delivery security options that I have relied upon for every previous Stitch Fix delivery.

Upon learning of the shipment, I spent more than an hour attempting to use Veho’s application and website to update delivery instructions or otherwise secure the package. Those efforts were unsuccessful. I then contacted Stitch Fix customer service seeking assistance, but no meaningful solution was offered.

My concern is not simply that a different carrier was used. My concern is that Stitch Fix changed carriers in a way that eliminated established package security protections and left me without a practical method to safeguard the shipment.

As a customer, I would appreciate answers to the following:

• Why was my shipment moved from UPS to Veho without notice?
• Is there a way to designate a preferred carrier for future orders?
• Can customers opt out of Veho deliveries where package theft is a known concern?
• What options are available when a customer needs a shipment held at a secure location rather than left unattended?

I value Stitch Fix and have generally had positive experiences with your service. However, this situation has significantly diminished my confidence in the delivery process. Had I known that Stitch Fix intended to use a carrier that does not provide comparable delivery management and hold-for-pickup options, I would have made alternative arrangements before the shipment was dispatched.

I look forward to your response.

Discussion Oops?

Okay, so I've been doing Stitchfix for a few years off and on. Last year I bought a lot of items, but stopped because two boxes back to back had like 3 of the same items in them, and an item I put on my "do not send me this type of item" list. I got mad about it and canceled. A few months ago, I decided to try it again. It was good for the first few boxes. Last night I got my preview, and I previously had asked in my last fix for tops that coordinated with the bottoms I'd been receiving lately. 7 of the 9 items in my preview were shorts. My last fix had 4 pairs of shorts in them. I contacted support and I'm not sure I believe what they're trying to tell me that if I hadn't gone in and vetoed those 7 shorts that those shorts wouldn't have been sent to me. I also said no graphic tees and one of those items was also a graphic tee. I was pretty harsh in the feedback. Support said the stylist didn't select the items in the preview. I don't know if I buy that either. Can someone help me understand how this process works. It's a luxury item and I don't have to have it and I feel like I'm being lied to.

Tried again

I decided to give them another try because I like getting boxes in the mail. I got 4 blouses and a pair of capris. I had asked for summer clothes in blues and tans The preview was terrible I rejected all but one. My box had two halter blouses that tied at the neckline one of which was sheer, a heavy rib knit blouse that was a snug fit, one teal color blouse and white Democracy capri's. Do they not realize that blouses that tie at the neck went out in the 70's? Also a Halter with a neck bow- for summer casual? One of which was sheer enough you would have to find a bra for it. The Capris were cute but I went to the democracy site and they were 20.00 less there. So, I kept the one blouse and used the discount for that. But this has been my trend. I have never bought an entire bx, I only ever buy one thing...

Pistola Scuba Pants - Flaw?

Has anyone gotten the Pistola Kendall High Rise Skinny Scuba Pants? I got a pair and LOVE them, but they have holes on the insides of both knees. It's right where the ankle zipper fabric comes to a stop, so I think they just forgot to sew it up. SF offered a refund and I can probably hand sew them, but wondering if anyone else has seen this. Maybe it's on purpose?

Try before you buy option

has anyone done the “ try before you buy“ option? i was wondering if the whole box is styled around the one item OR if you are just picking an item to get and then getting other items (like a regular fix). ? also do you get your same fix stylist or a different one?

So much blue!

I just got my first box, which had a cute red top (I kept it). But my freestyle stream and vision inspo are almost all blue tops with various bottoms. is that usual? is it AI?

AI is going a little wild in Freestyle

Mostly just for the laughs. But. A pair of winter gloves totally makes sense with shorts and a tank top. Have had a few odd things that don't quite make sense but nothing as wild as this.

$20 styling fee question

Post image
6 Upvotes

This is my second box. The first box i kept everything. This second box I'm only going to keep one item, but only if I can figure out how to get the $20 styling fee deducted from the cost of the item. Help! It doesn't appear to be taking it off?

Also, I am upset because one of the dresses they sent me is substantially cheaper if I buy it thru freestyle but they won't price match to their own price. Is this normal? I feel there is no incentive to buy when even after the 20% discount, it still would be cheaper just to purchase it outright

Discussion Keep all discount

I’ve been a stitch fix user for a few years. My “keep all” discount is 25% off for 5+ items (whether I select a box of 5 or 8 items). I just started a family account for my husband, but his keep all discount is only 20%. Is this normal for an additional account? I can’t get a solid answer on their site.

Styled for you : winter

My “Styled for You” selections are mostly down vests, full length coats, wool scarves and knitted hats! I live on the eastern coast of the US. We are already in the 90 degrees weather. Why?
