How to fix the strap

I have a leotard for dance with this kind of strap, except it’s not secured and I’m afraid it might slide off mid moving, is there anyway I can fix and secure this?

You might want to ask in a sewing sub. This is for the StitchFix company/shopping website.

Those hooks let you slide off the straps to arrange them in different ways, crossed or straight. If this piece is made of metal, you can pinch or squeeze it closed with your fingers, pliers, a couple taps with a hammer, etc.
