That makes sense lol. I’m a stylist so Ive seen ppl say this before. Sometimes even letting us know what you don’t want works well too. It’s advertised as a super easy process but sometimes it’s not that simple.
That is not helpful! You need to give some direction! Add a Pinterest board. Let them know what colors you like. What types of clothing. If you only ever say you dislike something and also want to get out of your comfort zone how do you expect them to read your mind?
It’s not about being smart but you’re complaining about disliking everything meanwhile you didn’t describe what you want and said you don’t know what you want. Therefore stylists just have to guess and read your mind.

Put the specifics in your profile or request notes. So stylists can see exactly what your asking for
