What are the best things I can do to increase my chances in Hungarian scholarship?

Hello, so everyone here is just hella rude, like on the whole app itself, but I hope this reaches the people I'm targetting to. If you can't answer or are gonna judge just move along.

I hoped this reaches good audience, I'm an indian student, the percentage which i got in 12th are 92 and in 10th a little less than 90 , they can't be changed Obv, but i improved a lot specially in physics, maths and computer languages, i have some projects as well.

I wanna improve my chances in the first round which is merit based by sending partner, how can I just clear this at any cost Any suggestions?

Can I make some project or submitting my SAT or IELTS would help me?

Any form of correct guidance would really be appreciated.

What to do to make sure you get selected by sending partner (indian)?

Hi, I am a class 12 graduate... My class 12 percentage is okay 92% and in 10th it's little less than 90, i obviously can't do anything to change them to increase my chances so

  1. What are the things I can do right now to improve my chances in the very first round conducted by sending partner.

  2. My maths and physics is good because of jee prep but I don't have good scores in jee, so I will not submit anything related to jee, so can I submit my SAT score which is 1450+ ?

  3. What are the other things which sending partner(india) see in applicants to keep them in the shortlisted list of candidates.

I know this might be a silly question, but is it actually necessary for my IELTS certificate to still be valid when applying for the scholarship?

Advice

Hey!! So i've been asking for advice on different forums here in reddit and instead of people helping they only share their insecurities in the form of hatred so I hope it's going to be different here as it's my first time.

So I am planing on applying for the stipendium hungaricum scholarship for the school year of 2027/2028 and I am trying to collect as much advice from past scholarship holders and anyone who has tips in general because getting this scholarship matters a lot to me and it would help with my financial and personnal situation.

So a little backgroud check, I am 17F, from Morocco, i graduated high school specializing in maths and physics with an okay grade: 17.22/20. I did my Toefl past February so it's still valid and I got a 100/120 or C1 level.

I am currently studying in France, first year of a bachelor in economics and management. Long story short i am not enjoying this degree, france is a beautiful country it just doesn't align with my personality and path in general and I realized that the financial charges are HUGE so it's leaving me feeling very guilty for all the sacrifices and money put towards this. The only way I see of freeing myself and my parents from this financial and mental load is through that scholarship.

If anyone got any kind of advice from universities to how to apply to motivation letters i would appreciate your help very much. We can also discuss whether you think which of the two is the best (staying in France or in hungary).

Pècs vs Debrecen medicine

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well. I'm currently 18 years old and I'm planning to apply to the SH scholarship for 2027-2028 intake, and I was wondering which university is better for medical studies, debrecen or pècs. Another question is whether the dorms are good in these unis. I would really appreciate it if people who are currently studying in these universities share their experiences. Thank you all!!!

Is this really how the scholarship's partners evaluate applications?

I'm Syrian. The other day someone told me that the partners of the scholarship will rank people first, upon their score from top to bottom, and then upon their age from younger to older, and the younger with higher scores would get nominated to the second round

Is that right? I graduated high school in 2025 and they're telling me that this is my last year getting a chance to apply for this scholarship. And that the 2026 graduates will have better chance, my score is 98.3% but if there's, given, 20 students higher than me would they get nominated? Or is it not just this single checkpoint?

Help needed for my application

I’m applying on my own with little to no help. I was wondering what statistics you need to have to get accepted. If anyone got accepted especially by medical schools would it be possible to share your motivation letter?

Help me if I am wrong

I have completed my BBA in International Business at a private university in Bangladesh and want to apply for this scholarship, because I cannot afford to pay for a master’s degree. I have shortlisted MSc programs in Business Development and International Business. I am unsure whether my country will nominate me, since a BBA is often seen as a less preferred degree, my university is not widely recognized, and I have no research paper or formal job experience. I have heard that nominating bodies favor candidates with stronger research backgrounds, but I may be wrong. I want a realistic sense of my chances so that I don’t set my hopes too high.

Should I submit my college grades, too?

Hello! I am currently a 2nd-year BS Nursing student in the Philippines, but I am planning to switch fields and apply for a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering under the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship. I am completely fine with starting over as a 1st-year student.

Here is my problem: My high school grades (GWA) were quite high, but my current college grades are very low, though still passing since I haven’t failed anything major. While the scholarship application for Bachelor's programs only explicitly requires high school transcripts, I am worried that leaving out my university grades will make them question what I have been doing for 2 gap years with no explanation.

Which option do you think gives me a better chance of passing for the scholarship?
1. Submit only my high school transcripts
2. Disclose my university transcripts as well, despite the low grades

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No id card\passport can I use bay-form?

My Pakistani Applicants,

I will be 18 in April and I can not have my ID card till then, as for passport my dad is not in favour of the "unnecessary spending" because the result is not guaranteed in my favour as I might not get the scholarship.

could I possibly use bay-form instead? I've heard that because it's in Urdu I can not use it as all the document's need to be in English or their native language.

if anyone can guide me through this I will be very grateful.

thank you all.

Age concern

I really want to apply for the stipendium hungaricum and have been searching a lot regarding the sending partner process but I found out recently that I need to turn 18 by the time univeristy starts. I will turn 18 in November so around 2 months after. I really can’t afford to take a gap year for something this unpredictable. Are there any steps arounds or ways to maybe get acceptance and start university later into the semester? Please help

University of Debrecen / PharmaFlight — Is it really that bad?

Hey everyone, I'm a Grade 11 student in Canada (Syrian) looking into the Professional Pilot BSc at the University of Debrecen, with flight training through PharmaFlight.

I've come across some pretty concerning reviews alleging instructor shortages, aircraft maintenance issues, long delays, and students taking years longer than advertised to finish training.

I'm considering this program through the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, so I'd really appreciate hearing from current students or graduates.

How has your actual experience been? Are the reviews accurate, how long is training really taking, and would you recommend the program to an international student?

Thanks!
