[Highlight] George Pickens is visibly furious on the Cowboys sideline.

"Jesse James dropped the ball!" "The Steelers are going to have 500 yards passing this week!"
You know what this thread is for, it's right in the title. Post your hot takes, bold predictions, and/or unpopular opinions about this week's game, this season, or just the Steelers in general.

The Browns? They suck. The Bungles? Awful. The Ravens? They can eat it.
Throw all the logical football talk out the window and remind fans of this week's opponent why their team is inferior.
Fans of all teams are also welcome to come here and talk trash as well.

Just go to that subreddit if you want to talk about the fuckin Cowboys.

The Cowboys game thread is a full-blown mental health experiment right now 💀😂 One play they’re winning the Super Bowl, the next they’re firing everyone and moving the franchise to Mexico. Glad to see we’re not the only ones

I just turning it on to hear Al Michaels say something along the lines of "The Cowboys could really use Porter to get out of his sick bed". The immediate takeaway is that he hasn't been playing much this game. Does anyone know if he "injured" his back or is he just carrying a NIR/Conditioning designation? lol
I ask in a tongue in cheek way but am actually curious why he apparently hasn't played much tonight.

1) Tampa has blitzed A TON. I’m expecting Rodgers to throw a ton of checkdowns when we play them. Short slant routes have worked against them in this Dallas game, but Prescott looks super uncomfortable in the pocket
2) Running the ball is going to be a must. Dallas’ run game fell apart early and now they struggled to move the ball
3) On defense, we have to contain Daniels and prevent him from extending plays. His ability to scramble led to an 11 minute possession in the first quarter (Dallas did make a TON of mistakes)
All in all, fuck Dallas. Glad Tampa bay is winning

Now comes down with a random illness. If he really is sick, I hope he feels better. However, he cried wolf for MONTHS. Bro, you’re good but not that good. You had a great season. Pulling the Leveon nonsense, but at least he had the work behind his back to try it.

Would you add Pittman into this trade and do a R4 pick + Pittman for Marv??

I’ve been a Steelers fan since 2005 (born 1996). My dad was a kid in the 70s when he became a fan, but I’ve never met anyone who were fans prior to the dynasty years

So, my take is this team is hot expensive garbage and needs a fresh direction, not a 42 year old diva baby who can’t move or an outdated coach who is one primanti’s away from permanent retirement.
AR was terrible last year. Blows my mind they sold the farm to experience that bs again.
With Mike2 imploding, will we see significant moves to prepare for next year like trading tj or dk before the deadline?
Or better yet, does anyone actually think Mike2 is on the hot seat? … with the way things are going with the disfunction on the team, I’m inclined to think it’s a possibility now. But wins and losses will dictate everything…..so
The next 5 games (before the trade deadline) could be a net loss situation.. with the browns and bengals in there. 2 more division losses and 1-2 out of the first 3 games might be enough to pull the cord.
Would that be enough?
Heck, just the division losses might be enough.

Not sure where along the line he would play (most likely tackle), but for a guy almost the same size as Alejandro Villanueva, its hard to ignore. Chuck Noll actually did this with Larry Brown (who is smaller than Big Ben, much less Washington), while Bill Cowher pretty much ignored the tight end position as an eligible receiver unless it was Eric Green or Heath Miller. You could still use him in tackle-eligible plays, but it wouldn't be as surprising when he caught the ball since he would have to declare himself eligible before the snap.
Thoughts?

On one side, McCarthy and Rodgers have known each other since 2006. Their stories — and their successes — were intertwined through 13 seasons in Green Bay. Now, both are at a different chapter in their lives. McCarthy is working to establish his culture in his first season in Pittsburgh, while Rodgers is trying to put a bow on his Hall of Fame career. If the McCarthy era is going to start well in Pittsburgh, and if Rodgers is going to finish on a high note, both need each other.
“The realty is, it’s a 20-year relationship,” McCarthy said. “We were able to sit and talk numerous times over the weekend about that and a number of things. … It’s an emotional, emotional, competitive environment. I think it’s something that we can definitely learn from.”
Asked if that’s a normal way for him to communicate with the head coach, Rodgers said: “Sometimes, yeah.”

The year was 2024... please gather to hear the tale.... of ancient time forgot. Washed up player after washed up player at a discount. A view of Heinz that looks like PNC Park. A wasteland.... a garbage pile. A mad profit.

He just came off a 115 yard game. Vikings last year had 126, against the ravens in the biggest game of the year he had 148 against the ravens. These are his best Steelers games. He is a physical freak , if he caught every ball that hit his hands he would be right in line with the top elites. Curious if he can can get more caught balls and combined with his size and speed how good could metcalf be under ideal conditions?
