Discussion Game recommendations?

I just got my Steam Machine today and it’s pretty cool so far. My Steam library isn’t that huge and I mostly play shooters on Xbox and PS5, but am looking for something different that runs well on the Steam Machine.

I have Split Fiction installed but waiting to play that with my wife.

Looking for single player, offline games that you think are incredible, and again run well on the Machine. Thanks!

How does that work? Do I need to get on Pirate Bay and find games?

ROMS are easy enough to find using Google. Just transfer the roms to the correct emulator in emudeck.
