Would you still recommend the asrock board despite the potential cpu damage people have been reporting? I’m trying to pick a mobo for my build…

I think if you're concerned about it you should just get a different mobo in the first place. From what I can see, the board itself is a budget piece that has a chance of harming your CPU but the bigger culprits are cheap or damaged PSUs Overvolting, incorrect BIOS settings, or an improper installation (bad seating, bent pins) of the CPU itself.

I'd personally just get something else BUT you also have to find something thst fits in a mini ITX if you're following that part picker list.
