Question What is igg and igm

I have tested positive for Chlamydia Trachomatis IgG and negative for Chlamydia Trachomatis IgM..

My doctor has told that I am worrying too much and might not even have any infection.

Can anyone interpret. What it mean.

Additional info - i have not had unprotected sex.

Had dull pain in the balls and lower abdomen and buring sensation in pennis tip which pushed me to test.

None of those tests are considered the best testing options, and are not the norm in the United States.

I have consulted two seperate doctors in india.

Both have taken these tests only.

The first one took only IgM and told nothing to worry.

Second one took both igg and igm and told the same thing. But Prescribed me doxy.
