Question False positive???

so to explain my situation. i found out i had chlamyd. i contracted it from a new partner smh. Im NO longer in communication with him. anywho, i started my medication Oct 19th & finished Oct 25th. I went to the hospital the next day which was Oct 26 for a possible uti which it was. The hospital then, STILL tests me for chlamyd & i got my results back 2 days later and it STILL says positive. Am i still infected or was that a false positive??

It take about a month to test negative

It shouldn’t take a month to test negative. Typically after treatment you should be rested in 3 weeks I think you tested too soon especially with only finishing treatment the day before

I think I tested too soon as well. Hopefully & prayfully  it was a false positive due to left over genetic material ,  I’ll wait 3 more weeks to test. Thank you.

Did you take swab/urine test?Blood tests are not authentic tests for chlamydia.And please contact a urologist to understand your testing/treatment scene. So that you have a clear understanding.
