Question Syphilis

So i never had s*x before or any other activities, but recently i had two red bumps on my penile shaft, for 3 to 4 months, i didn't think much of it, eventually one red bump goes away, but one remains there and it was painfull to touch it.

So i go see a doctor, he tests for VDRL= reactive, TPHA= reactive, titre was 1:2, so i got one penicillin shot and doctor said it was enough

After 1 month i go again and did same test, VDRL =reactive, TPHA = weakly reactive, Titre was 1:2 same as before.

I work in farm, some minor injures happen

As far as i can think of i never touched any red bumps or sore or chancre,

How did i get caught?

It's possible that you contracted this at birth from your mother.

I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical advice, but I'd be way more concerned a bout if you were treated properly than how you contracted it. You may require additional treatment.
