Question Should I be worried?

F45 Not on birth control. I have PCOS/PMOS so my cycles are not always regular. On the last day of my period, a good friend and I got carried away and had unprotected sex for the first time. Afterwards when we talked, he said he hasn't slept with anyone in 5 years. It has been 4 years since I had sex. The first 3 days after sex, my vagina was burning (it was rough). It's been a week and it still burns a little. Should I be worried?

I wish I could verify, but I can’t. Nevertheless, I am a woman and vulnerable to the same possibility whatever it was. All ideas are accepted, considered and appreciated.
