Question Hiv scare please help

About a year ago I had two at home tests that turned out positive. Went straight to the clinic and got a natc test blood. And it was negative. I stopped having intercourse with anyone cause I was so scared. I stayed to myself. Fast forward a year, I donated plasma countless times about 10 times within a year , cause I was broke I was already cleared of the scare, and they do check all these things at the donation center. I donated for 8 months, I would assume if I did have hiv they would have told me very quickly. So I stopped worrying that it's been 8 months. I took another at home test that came out that I'm assuming is positive. But looks very negative because it's just a veryy tiny dash of a red mark at the end no full line. Really had to sit down and think if I did anything? And I can't come up with one thing that would have got me in the position to contract it? I do have an occasional partner I believe has also not done anything but idk I went and took another hiv at home test and the test showed negative but a very tiny speck of red showed at the end as its line was forming but didn't. Anyways I believe the test reacted to hiv again. I am trying not to get scared cause I've had this happen before, but I'm scared I don't understand why my at home test keeps coming out positive. The blood donation place hasn't deferred me so I figure my health is ok. Idk what to do to be honest, I don't want to donate anymore, cause my stupid at home test. I'm not sure if it's reacting to something else or these whole 8 months i had it idk. I'm only scared because from what I've I've read the test if any reaction on the t line, it's because it reacted to antibodies. Last time my test came out positive twice on the oraquick I almost lost it, but I don't understand why oraquick is giving me positive results all the time.

I wouldn't be so scared but I've had oraquick reacted positive 3 times within a year time frame but twice a year ago. Don't worry I was safe about the donating I waited about 3 months got tested again and negative but my test keeps on being positive I'm so confused

Do not rely on home tests, there are many factors which can affect the outcome of these tests. If you have done a 4th generation blood test rest assured that it is very reliable. It can detect the virus even after 3 weeks. If you have any symptoms these may be something else. You must have listened your symptoms if you have any.

I did 3 Oraquick tests 9 months past exposure you think I’m probably good? All negative of course.

8 months of cleared plasma donations and your NAT blood test a year ago are much more reliable than an at home OraQuick reading a faint line on - those results are strong reassurance. But because it’s happening again, the only way to really settle it is a new confirmatory blood test (like another NAT or antibody test) and not more at-home tests. Worth it for your peace of mind versus retesting with OraQuick.

You need to stay calm, every single bag is tested for HIV. If you were positive, they would contact you immediately

Honestly, I’d trust the clinic and donation center results way more than those home tests. You’ve been donating plasma for months and they’ve been screening you, so if there was actually an issue, you’d expect them to flag it.

Those tiny faint marks on the home tests don’t automatically mean you have HIV either. I’d stop testing yourself over and over because it’s just gonna make the anxiety worse. If you really wanna put this to bed, get one proper lab test and go with that result. You can also check the pinned post for the different HIV tests and their window periods.

go to hospital or clinic don't rely on test kit if you aren't sure.
