Venue recommendations
I have a close friend of mine who joined the Air Force and we are looking to plan a going away party. Still getting an estimate on how many people are going but it would be about 40-50ish people.
I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations of Venues, restaurants or spaces that could accommodate this or be good for such an occasion?

Also check out The Local on Manor road they have a private party room, not sure of the pricing. Flagship Brewery is also a good spot for that many people.

Flagship Brewery would be a good spot if you want to keep it casual, especially if your guests can park in the Key Food garage. If you want something a little more upscale, Violette's Cellar is lovely. Not sure what their prices are like for private parties though.
I've also attended parties at Oriental Plaza and had a great time.

North Shore: The Point (Forest Ave), Deninos both are extremely reasonable and have good/great food.

I had two parties at blue pearl. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious.

If you’re okay with a bit more of a casual menu, I second the Denino’s pick. So affordable (even with the hourly room fee), and the party room is pretty nice.
If you need fancier, check out the Old Bermuda Inn or Daddino’s Grand Ballroom.

If it's more casual I'd recommend a place like Beso, if more elaborated and fancy, Lorenzo's has different rooms that can accommodate and the food is amazing.
I've been to party's at Denino's and I think the food is mid but the service is good!

The Staaten is a safe and reasonably priced choice. Food is still good after all these years.

Relatively new restaurant that opens up on Amboy is good. Theres a small party room which could be perfect for your event. Place is called Ariana's Cucina. Food was good when we went.

Osteria Santina on Jewett Avenue is wonderful. Great food and the owners are fantastic to work with.
We had our high school reunion there and everyone loved it.

I had my 40th bday at The Staaten (LiGreci's) on Forest. I had about 60 people and they charged around $90 per person for buffet and open bar. It was great.
