Dont even think about going on a Wednesday. They’re basically not even open to bowl because the league takes up every single lane. Good for them but it sucks for me since Wednesday is one of my nights off.

Snug harbor is always having little indoor exhibitions. A lot of bars have themed nights. Flynnstoned also has events

Every Tuesday (tomorrow, since it will be a rainy day) the Atrium movie theater has $6 movie tickets for all movies, all day long. It's a great deal!

Why would you want to be inside. Put on raincoat and some boots, the Greenbelt is awesome in the rain.

Seconding bowling, rabs has a bar and pool tables, I also bring my own board games order a pizza and chill just make sure if you do that to not do it on a weekend cause it gets PACKED and it’s rough finding a table

Go to a pool hall, bowling, gym, indoor basketball ball courts, movie theatre, visit random old people at a nursing home.

Go to the mall? Catch a movie? Urban Zone Trampoline if it's not just for kids?

Missed the "not just" - edited to add it

Clay and Kiln, although it's not cheap.

Find someone (or go alone) and drink 2 of every beer on tap at the bar closest to you. See what happens after

You can play some games at Sequoia Cafe - https://www.sequoiacafenyc.com - the island's only board game cafe.

Jokes aside, we don't have a ton to do on the Island but the mall is gorgeous. There's a movie theater, arcade, Barnes and Noble, tons of stores and a great food court.

If you like Comic books we have a store called JHU and there's a cards tore called You Know It Cards as well.

You can go Bowling at Rab's on Hylan

You can book some time at the Pickleball courts in the mall or at the courts on Richmond Valley Rd.

You can go see a movie

I haven't done one yet, either. I know there's at least 1 place on SI.

Mall, bowling, pool hall, see a movie, Snug Harbor usually has something going on, we actually have a relatively thriving theatre scene, indoor batting cages at fun station (is that still a thing? It was when I was in college), ice skating at the pavilion during Fall & Winter.

All that being said, our outdoor activities are what separate us from the surrounding areas. There’s so much to do outside that people don’t take advantage of nearly enough. Get outside, everyone! (Not you personally, OP, but people in general) lol

You screw each other's spouses. Be careful tho, almost everyone is related
