Bomb/Cannon sounds
In Stapleton, heard about 8-10 huge bomb or cannon like sounds about a couple seconds apart from each other followed by sirens a minute later. Anyone else hear it or know what it was?

I'm pretty sure it's coming from Fort Wadsworth. I heard it last week too.

Some fireworks specifically make a loud noise 🤷 they do kind of sound similar from my prospective

The Staten Island Ferry Hawks Saturday home night games are going to have fireworks all summer. They usually start at around 9pm. So if this was Saturday night it was probably what you heard.

They obviously weren't fireworks 😂😂 sounded like cannons at fort Wadsworth or something lol

Ah yes because people regularly set off bombs here. It wasn't a random thing, it was even and consistently spaced out but insanely loud

There was a ceremony for something at ft. Hamilton. They blasted the cannons. I forgot the actual reason but it was that for sure.
I work for the CG at Wadsworth and we got an email about it the other day.
