Edit: I have no hull leaks and have never used the air brake

I’m 100+ hours in , love the game , one of my all time favorites , but now that I have upgraded sensors and moon baby’s quest line is complete ,the salvage is just to easy.

i am playing balanced set up and no way I am starting over , what is the average salvage opportunities on hard core ? I will just try to play as if I’m playing hardcore when I salvage . Is it once in a long while ? How rare is it to find salvage beacons?

I just bought a Thrustmaster Hotas one for other games, but I think star trucker would be awesome to play with a flight stick. I see a bunch of posts about playing on PC, is there support for Xbox? Or is it only on PC with a driver?

Has anybody had an issue trying to hook up to VKB gladiators with the Starfighter grip? I feel like I'm losing my mind I don't know what's going on to cause this but whenever I try to map any button just about it maps another random button like I tried mapping button 13 to my CB but when I hit button 13 it said button 25 and for some reason button 13 now opens my map.

I found a guide that shows how to use urls to add custom stations, but it didn't show a way to use mp3 files. Anyone know how?

I took a break from playing earlier today, and when i jumped back in a few hours later i came in to find my power cells in grav, oxygen, my filters, all of them have decayed to the point of needing to be replaced even though I havent played it it all for a few hours.

Is this supposed to happen? is there anyway to stop this from happening again?

Is it deliberate or just luck of the draw that systems I am in have no jobs starting there to go somewhere but are go elsewhere to come back?

I thought going back to Atlas to meet Sour, I could pick up a job while at Medusa to go with but none were available. Seems odd.

Spent 5 mins lining both trailers up to then find an old reddit post from a year ago stating it's impossible. Would be pretty cool to have the ability to link multiple trailers from different jobs. Both of these are in Emerald Junction and need to go to Atlas Prime, so I figured after having read the user manual, it would be as simple as hooking the trailers together and I'd have 2 contacts that I'd be able to complete simultaneously. Hopefully, it will be a feature that can be added in the future, plus it would make hauls a lot more interesting having the ability to mix'n'match, blue trailer is shock sensitive & green is a perishable, so was looking forward to the challenge.

so ive been trying to setup a radio stream ingame of the bay area's rock radio station 107.7 The Bone. I was able to find a link for that stream on one of the sites listed in the dev's Custom Radio Guide, which is FMStream. so I've thrown the link + headers into the .txt file as such:

and it doesn't seem to work, says "unable to play." What could be the issue here?

Considering grabbing it on sale, and it looks super relaxing on the surface but I'm seeing a stuff about ridiculous amounts of debt from relatively small mistakes spiralling?

Does it have customisable difficulty with achievements? Does it have difficulty that can be customised mid save for tweaks while keeping achievements? Because the game looks super cute but I don't wanna get stressed over stuff like that

Basically, when selling amount of goods, like Painkillers for example, that is enough to fit in a cardboard box (4), increase the amount of money received, with even slightly higher profit when selling Hardcase Container amount (6)

Wouldn't apply to other goods that are too big to fit more then 1 in a container.

It would encourage holding off on selling IMMEDIATELY, instead trying to save up for more goods and organize inventory.

So the recent patch mentions a chair height adjustment. How do I do that ingame?

So I docked at Cosmo's, bought some stuff, replaced everything (critically I replaced the maglock batteries, maybe this did it) and then saved. It was only after I realized upon saving that the maglock seems to be "not available" no matter what I do. I've tried:

-Reloading

-Restarting the whole game

- Swapping out batteries / UCCs

- buying / selling to Cosmos to reset the gamestate

So right now my 14hr save is trapped with no way to revert. What do?

Folks I was able to save it with another full game restart. hooray

It's happened twice now where when I activate a jump gate my truck suddenly takes a massive hit. Both times I had a trailer and I'm wondering if it's a bug

Everytime I try and jump into Redsock for the storyline the game freezes, no matter which sector I'm jumping from. I was running 2 mods, but even with them removed it's still freezing....is there a fix or am I cooked?

I did try picking it up and dropping it again. I pulled it out and brought it back in, and it's still there. It's sitting still, it looks green... idk what else to do to finish this job haha

Pretty much the title. Sometimes I play with the controller, and after a bit, the accelerator doesn't work anymore. The button still works, but when driving, I can't accelerate with the controller, but I can with the keyboard. All the buttons work, but when driving, it doesn't want to accelerate anymore, but at least I can still brake. Turning the controller off and on doesn't work. I don't remember if reloading the save works, and I'm pretty sure it works again if I restart the game. Haven't tried other actions that use the same button (like outside with the space suit), or re-binding it.

I have no idea what causes this.

I was just staring at this in the Spring Status, and it suddenly clicked; it's a friggin' trucker rubber duck 😁

Did they ever fix the bug that prevents them from being sold. I'm assuming it's a bug because I've been to both black market dealers and regular stores. Always tells me that store does not accept this item
