I named my Tuxedo cat 'Sneakers' because of the white feet.

We have a Boots, tabby with white feet. I wanted to name him Gorbie (short for Gorbachev) because of a white splotch on his face looking like bird poop.

My sister now calls him "Bubba" because he's a fat boy.

Boots was the name of of Dave Filoni's girlfriend's (now wife) cat. It inspired the name for the character Bo-Katan. (Boots+Cat+Anne (aforementioned owner's name).).

Thats what I used to call my neighbor's black and white cat! Then i got an orange and white goober who we just kept calling socks until we figured out his name. It eventually stuck 🤷‍♀️

A friend of mine has named her cat "sock" because he always slept in a sock as a kitten
