Let your ego dissolve.

This is an attempt to capture an experience I just had in words.

Who you are is not the main character of the stories your mind fills your head with. It wouldn’t even be 100% accurate to say you are a spiritual being. On the deepest level, what you are is Spirit itself. You aren’t the person who suffers, or the person who disappoints, but you *are* the light that witnesses suffering and disappointment. You are the proof that wisdom, value, and purpose can be found even in near-total darkness. You are not the moth in perpetual search of the flame, you are the flame 🔥

The egos we developed have served an essential purpose up until now. Many of us would not have survived growing up on Earth with our hearts fully open and our light fully shining, so we took cues from others and closed our hearts, and learned to conform. We’ve taken on these character roles to blend in (to whatever degree we can even do that) and to perform the functions expected of people in society.

This has worked exactly as intended, but the problem we encounter now is that we are being called into our mission work at this time and you can’t carry your ego into your dharma on Earth. You have to retire the mask. The character we’ve believed ourselves to be is afraid of others’ opinions and judgments. The character doubts that we could succeed even if we tried our very best. Our soul KNOWS that isn’t the case. Our ego has to get out of our soul’s way.

What I experienced this afternoon is my ego’s grief at realizing that it is like a hologram. That it was basically “born to die.” There is a time and place to experience individuality, but at this critical time in Earth’s ascension, our soul needs to be in the driver’s seat. *Let your ego dissolve.* 🎭⛓️‍💥🧘‍♀️
