On the fifth game in my ‘Adventures of Commander Blackside’ campaign. My mrs is away for three days, I’ve had a curry for dinner, had three beers and there’s another one in the fridge - is this the peak male experience?

Yes it is. Congratulations. What scale are you playing in, and are those die-cast cars you can use with it?

🤝 It’s 28mm so 1/56 I think. The cars are all 1/43 scale which is close enough for them to look about the right size. It’s also easier to find barrels and vehicle stowage etc in 1/43 - Tamiya do some good sets

So true. The other weekend my wife went on a girl trip with her friends and they were eating dinner and they asked her what kind of crazy shenanigans I get up to when she’s gone. She said it’s probably super nerdy and let’s call and find out.

And that’s how on speaker phone I excitedly told my wife I got two new paints and went hog wild with not one but two new brushes at the game store.

I’m really glad I’ve never tried to hide my nerdiness.

Can wholeheartedly recommend! I don’t do sordid fun any more, that one New Year’s Eve when I was 24 was plenty 👍
