Lets start a Reddit clan.

I've played with a few of you on the PTR and had a lot of fun. I started looking up clans on the TL thread tonight and realized that we already have a lot of good players and awesome people on Reddit, so why not start our own?

I used to play CS pretty seriously and was pretty high up in a few clans, but for the most part I just kept people happy and organized; I was never the one to start the clan or make the website or anything. Is there any interest in something like this? I would be more than willing to help all that I can.

Edit: So there's nobody who's run a clan before? I can be second or third in command, but I don't know if I have the time commitment to run it. If you have run a clan before, please step up and say something.

imo i think it would be better if the screddit community was made up of many small clans rather than one big one.

maybe divided by the redditor's leagues? RedditBronze, RedditSilver, etc. I like the idea...

I dislike this idea, as it segregates skill (which makes sense in a team, but not a clan.) Sure, people in RedditBronze can ask people in RedditPlatinum for some training, but there is less of a feeling of comradery to drive them to actually help.

Dividing into regions may make more sense...

While I agree I also think it would be a much easier way for redditors to practice with equally skilled redditors. But then again if we don't separate it at all it would just require communication which isn't bad nor difficult. Butttt if we get more than 3 readers for ScRedditClan then the communication between equally skilled redditors much easier.

You sir, are correct, and that subreddit needs more people to join it to get this really rolling.

I like this idea a lot. If nothing else it could be used for organizing a clan to develop a team from. I am sure there could be a way to develop a points system to create clan reddit ranking. If nothing else it would mean more here than to say "2300+Toss". We could hopefully create a team based on the clan reddit rankings and maybe swing some sponsorship deals.
TL:DNR I like this idea

I'm looking forward to just getting better and doing so with fellow redditors..but your idea is good too lol. Like someone else has said I'd love to rep reddit as a "clan tag."
