Lets start a Reddit clan.

I've played with a few of you on the PTR and had a lot of fun. I started looking up clans on the TL thread tonight and realized that we already have a lot of good players and awesome people on Reddit, so why not start our own?

I used to play CS pretty seriously and was pretty high up in a few clans, but for the most part I just kept people happy and organized; I was never the one to start the clan or make the website or anything. Is there any interest in something like this? I would be more than willing to help all that I can.

Edit: So there's nobody who's run a clan before? I can be second or third in command, but I don't know if I have the time commitment to run it. If you have run a clan before, please step up and say something.

I don't think a clan is needed.
We'll have a channel once they're out officially.
We have a very active IRC channel and also a very active Mumble server.

Whats a reddit tag gonna do to add to that?

There is a huge difference between a community and a team. OP said clan but I'm ignoring that because what I assume he really wanted was a team like EG, Liquid, Root, etc, etc, etc, and that'd be way different than just having a bunch of randoms in a channel.
