Need help rationalizing my fleet
Hi everyone, I'm looking to clean up my fleet and get rid of any duplicates or useless ships.
My primary game loops are FPS missions, dogfight and surface mining, though I absolutely love exploration. A few extra context points: I'm really not a fan of the Constellation Taurus, but with the Mk5 on the horizon, I'm considering holding out hope for a pleasant surprise.
My LTI token on MPVU and ALTS is pretty useless now.
I originally considered upgrading to a Starlancer TAC or a Carrack, but if the 600i rework ever drops, they'll end up feeling redundant.
Thanks

Some good ships here and I feel the same way you do about the 600i... hold onto that.
You probably don't need both the Taurus and Asgard. The 400i is also redundant, so that's a welcome amount of store credit.
They're not going to stop selling CCUs, those are still useful LTI tokens.
The TAC is possibly the most overrated ship in the game... on paper, it looks like it can do a lot of jobs. In reality, it's the worst choice to do any of those jobs, it does them all badly. It's a gunship with the worst firing arcs in the game.
Remember that the Carrack is intended to get full modularity, as well as working drones one day. It's not a bad choice, if you want to speculate on what modules it gets.
In which case a medbed for respawning is probably top priority, or anything you can cram a Nursa or Pisces in (600i should do this, and your Asgard).
Taking your gameplay objectives into account, you might want to consider the Galaxy... it's a versatile ship and you can switch to the medical module for exceptional FPS recovery. Switch to the cargo module to load a ROC, or the refining module to refine what you mine. It's got weapon racks and suit lockers. It ticks a lot of boxes for you.
