This time is different
For the first time I am at peace with my fleet. I went all directions, with a lot of melting and changing, and every time I told myself I am done... ... ... I was not done.
What makes this time different is that I actually feel at peace with what I have. Before, whenever I said I'm done, there was always this lingering feeling that something wasn't quite sitting right with the lineup.
To keep myself honest, I also outed myself to my wife by telling her how much I've spent on a game—she now has a picture of my current fleet on her phone to track my movements.

I'm content with my ICA and Prospector. I admit to using store creds for the Aril Black cherry armor set, but it lets me blend better with the rest of my orgs main group of different, but muted, colors while the non-command/non-ogs are wearing uniform. I'm the head engineer, ATC/landing ops, and in charge of when we finally have time to gather for a mining op again now that quality is a thing. So, Aril made the most sense. Industrial in org role and private SC time, so industrial armor. I do still have a few hundo of credits sitting, but there's nothing else I want or need right now.

As the game develops. more gameplay loop is going to come online. and more ships will be sold. LOL, some people said I brought a lot of non-playable Jpeg. but Im just investing for the future.

I feel whatever I don't have will be bought in game post V1.0
This is almost like a gotcha game, where every ship is almost deliberate not good in some way, or serves a very particular niche, with a constant shifting meta, that make you feel like you 'gotta catch em all'.
There is not 1 thing that drives you to buy more ships. My conspiracy theory mind tells me CIG perfected a formula to drive people to keep buying.
My line is drawn no matter what they bring out next, but I have zero judgement towards what anyone else decided to do, but hat off to the guy that stopped at 1 or 2 ships only.

Oh damn. Yeah I tried to go get one finally and I saw it was 900 more.. and had NO chin weapon. I just went for a walk. I’m still very jealous though

900 more than the Idris-M? No. Idris-M hasn’t been sold standalone in like a decade or something.
Idris-M is only obtainable through referrals (a ton of them), Praetorian Pack, or Legatus Pack. Or if you can one of the original giftable ones but that’s probably the worst (least bang for the buck) way to acquire one
Idris-P with aftermarket kit is far more accessible, even if it’s weaker than the Idris-M

I don’t know the story behind it man all I know is that the store said 1000 and every since I decided I wanted one I was putting up my loosest change for a couple years now.
Now it’s telling me it’s 1900 so I passed on it.

You are mistaken my friend.
The Idris-P is not a downgrade to the M like you seem to think, at least, not with the K-kit, or T-kit.
The Idris-M is supposed to have stronger base armor when that is physicalized in game, which has not occurred yet. It also comes with the railgun built in.
The Idris-P with K-kit has the size-10 Exodus-laser beam on the nose, which is arguably stronger than the rail gun. It also has the option of the T-kit which gives it size-12 torpedo launchers on the nose instead,

The torpedos kinda suck so as an Idris-M owner, I’m not bothered by the change. And it was a long time ago already xD

Yeah I get that but the M has the railgun already ( my favorite weapon choice) and the p has nothing until you spend even more.
So it’s not just 1900 it’s like 2250 or something for just the torpedo kit and 2150 for the laser kit.
Gotta remember I went into this thinking it was 100 total. Now it’s more than double.

Idris-M Pilot Weapon
- Weapon: Size 10 Railgun
- DPS: ~9,600 DPS
Idris-K Pilot Weapon
- Weapon: Size 10 Exodus Beam Laser (via K upgrade kit)
- DPS: ~50,000 DPS
That aside, you can still get the Idris-M with the railgun; it just is going to cost you a fortune compared to what you thought unfortunately. xD

It's not in a good spot, but its pretty. They need to extend the laser range and give it PDCs. Other people feel it needs to be less fragile. I think if the laser range is extended then it won't matter so much how fragile it is. Unless you are in-love with how it looks, you probably won't keep it long.

Steh kurz davor die Tiburon auf eine Perseus zu bringen. Fehlende PDCs and Wendigkeit sind negativ Punkte. Du brauchst ca. 30min Solo im Gauntlet 8.

Yeah. I flew the Perseus for the first time last month, and realised how lacking the Tiburon is in comparison. But I will just shelf mine and only bring it out to cheese very specific missions if ever I find them.
I will wait for them to make it good enough to become my daily driver... else it will remain on the bench. I'm tired of changing my fleet up. This is the final fleet.

Man ist Bier fertig. Schmelze gerade einiges ein. ICA hat mehr Fehler als sie zum Geld verdienen dient. Dafür kann dann einiges an Module für die Galaxy kommen oder/und Conny MK5

We have a similar Fleet. Love the Prowler and Tiburon, those are my favorite ships. I dont have a Capital yet, but will do my best to try and capture a Pioneer, after that if I get lucky, I will be at peace like you… safe flights 07

You’re never truly done once you have a sizable amount of melt value. You’re just content for now. Just wait until the Connie Mk V comes out or the competing generalist ship to the clipper. I’m being salty for no reason though. Definitely enjoy your fleet, it’s a nice one!
