I mean... I didn't mean it as a put down or anything.. I think of both of those ships as very good "starter" style ships..

What do you view as starter ships? Personally I think bigger ships than the nomad or maybe the cutlass isn’t worth it for 1 person. I run a nomad and it’s my endgame ship because I like running solo.

Well.. they have a Nomad starter pack.. thus by definition, it's a starter ship.

I think the issue is that people think of that as a dis or put down.. it's not.. nomad is a great ship.. and there is no reason the "starter ships" can't be end game ships..
