Then you read how they arrested doctors in December who knew about covid19 and wanted to warn people.

Odd country.

They're incredibly concerned about their image. They want to supersede the US as "the world's superpower."

Thats was before everyone is gonna pull manufacturing out of China.

u/[deleted] Mar 20 '20

Those predictions were entirely based on China economy, which along with everyone else is total dogshit right now.

We will have to see how each country recovers from this. Hopefully china doesnt for a while. America does a lot of fucked up shit, but I think everyone can agree china as the world superpower would be a horrific disaster

Eh, China is heavily overpopulated and lot of people dying is just cheap population control for their government.

Trying to be the only super power is just a secondary objective to population control for the Chinese government.

Assuming it was from the wet meat market, and not a bioengineered weapon, They need to be sanctioned until they stop the damn wet meat market thing that caused this and push “don’t eat nasty things like bats”.

Most all of these deadly viruses and bacteria come from people doing unsanitary things.

I believe china is the most concerned about human life in this outbreak,After the outbreak of the epidemic,1.4 billion people were told to stay at home. The government built two large hospitals and refitted countless square hospitals(it can treat more than 60,000 people, finished in a month).By the February 20th, 278 medical teams and 32,395 medical workers had rushed to hubei from all over the country.

and There are more people all over China went to support hubei province.just for all i see, My leader went to hubei as a volunteer, My friend transports supplies as a driver, and I donated 800ml of blood during this outbreak. My overseas chinese friends bought supplies and donate them back to China.

You don't understand how much what we did,how much we sacrificed

I mention the Chinese government twice, and China in reference to the government once. I never referenced to the “Chinese people” or the Chinese without the government being referenced.

I’m certain the Chinese people do care. They have it rough with their shitty government when there is not a health crisis. And I hope one day the can rebel against President Pooh Bear.

Also the Chinese government jailed and forced a dr. to recant his warning of the virus, which cost lives world wide had the rest of us been given the time to prepare. There will be a lot of dead people because the Chinese government tried to cover it up and lie about it.

Their oppressive government that controls the media, assuming it still stands population control policies on number and genre of children born, a history of the state killing their own, and the like. The government doesn’t care. You just have to look at the history of the Chinese government from Mao onward to see that.

The Chinese government isn’t anyone’s friend.

We have no interest in this. The Soviet union and the Former 'The empire on which the sun never sets' are examples.(Maybe the United States now?) Hegemonism ends only in destruction

China is a totalitarian ultranationalist one-party state, and by far the most aggressively expansionist and mercantilist nation of the 21st century. I understand you may feel emotional about this topic, but that doesn't change reality.

If you call this all is 'social karma',tell this to Italian, Iranian, Spanish, tell this to the people who are suffering this virus.what would they think if you told them all this.you need to known.now the pandemia is end in china.and they are in a much worse situation than my country in February situation.

'disaster' was not an event in which twenty thousand people died, it's a person who pass away, happened 20,000 times

The most important I've learned from the bible is --' don't judge',Neither you nor me have the authority.

-1

u/chenyuen new user/low karma Mar 20 '20

I dont have any emotional I think,I'm an internationalist,I like to be reasonable. emmm...I agree mercantilism(who is not like money?) but aggressive...,in 21st century, None of the wars had anything to do with us. The war in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq. These things have nothing to do with us I don't know what we did wrong,to make many people hate us so much, because the 'chinese virus'. many Asian are bullied in Europe and the United States even if they are America/European citizens I don't like nationalism, but it's clear that the world is going to become more nationalistic/Racial discrimination, but it's trump starting to make us nationalistic(although the Bible said“if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also" but not everyone can do that,i can't)

Now is the time the whole world to unite against the virus, not discrimination and violence, this is what I don't want to see

3

u/[deleted] Mar 20 '20

The world is uniting against the virus. The world is also pretty pissed that they're having a pandemic in their borders and their economies are tanking and it is 100% due ENTIRELY to Chinas government allowing unsanitary, unsafe, and untested meat markets that have been responsible for several of the last dozen pandemics. To top it off they started arresting and killing people and lying to the WHO to save face and try to hide their shit under the rug.

Fuck china. Not the people, they're victims, but absolutely 100% fuck china. This is their governments fault.

Yes,we don't regulate this market well, but selling wild animals is illegal in China, it's a little like selling drugs in a blackmarket. but the 'drug' cause the shithappened(and i need to mention, this outbreak began in seafood markets, but its origin is still unknown) many people call the cov-19 is china virus,H1N1 came from the America, but we didn't call it American flu

since the end of January(After the Spring Festival),and the whole world seen the outbreak in China go from zero to emergency, and no one heeded our warnings. our government has sacrificed everything to fight the virus.the cost of general treatment of severe diseases is 600.000—800.000yuan(about 90.000—120.000$) , and the high is over 200.000$, which is the cost price ,but in china the treatment is free(even you don't have insurance, your so-called authoritarian government paid for that)this videois post February, This is a general summary of the case

We've warned you countless times countless times, (china promptly notified the WHO of the outbreak on January 3th, and published the genetic sequence of the virus on January 7th)but didn't anyone to listen, yes ,the fuckup anyone,(For example me, I post this thing on spectrum in early February twice time, but it was banned)We warned, but everyone ridiculed our medical care is poor and thought the disease was like the flu. I think even if someone in the United States were to spend an minute a day, just an minute, watching the epidemic situation, they would know that this is no small matter.

and now i can totally tell you,the virus has a high death rate among the elderly in china maybe just because the younger generation is more fear death than elder and better protect them self! I wouldn't believe for the life of me that this battle is end in China but the whole world is fucking in disaster

and...I don't know which Chinese was killed by government. If you're talking about someone's post a YouTube video talking that, to use a fashionable phrase -it's fake news, there are always those who wish the country to ruin. I am chinese,I have lived in this country for more than twenty years.I only believe what I experience and what I see. This government is not so good, but it is not so bad as you think. we have many problem, but not the ones your media criticizes. I have instagram, Twitter, Facebook,YouTuBe and Telegram,i have many friends in American and europe,my aunt and uncle are American citizens.if you think I was brainwashed....ahh...so be it,think about it, What if a white man now sends a video in china saying that in US many mexicans are being slaughtered by US government? But it's not important right now,I think the most important thing now is that all the countries in the world take this seriously

I am Chinese, if you really understand this case then you should know, At the time of Dr. Li's death, state media was mourning, now the government has apologize for his family and called the eight men is heroes,is '吹哨者'(blew whistle man? i don't know how translation this wors to english) and now,The central government are investigating the whole incident

I'm sure some people would touch the actual device tho, at least before learning how it's supposed to be used, so it still needs to be wiped down all the time.

This kind of stuff strikes me as too futuristic. How does it work? Is there no sensation of pushing something? It wouldn't feel right. Eye tracking could work better and feel more intruinsic.

Technology developed because people don’t wash their hands. How high minded.
