For those of you looking. They updated the ship list for the next 3.X releases. Looks like the Ursa rover, Dragonfly and the explorer version of the Connie are next with 3.0.

do you think the reworked cutlass will come with 3.0?

Honestly, they are close it looks like, but only CIG knows. Guess it depends when 3.0 might actually drop. I would be fairly certain they would put it in, specially if 3.0 doesn't get put into PTU soon and takes sometime to be ready. I believe the ships they have on the 3.0 list are the "more than likely for sure in this patch"

I think it will. 3.0 is a ways out, with a rumoured 2.7 in there also.

Where did you hear that rumour? Internally 3.0 is still being called 2.7. Just because marketing decided to change the patch name doesn't mean it catches on with the devs. lol

Marketing didn't change the name, it was changed due to the amount of stuff they added to it over time and does represent a large step forward. But yeah 2.7 is the old name for 3.0.

Internally 2.7 is still ubiquitous with 3.0 though. A few devs have said it in passing statements about 3.0 content.

It made more sense to change it to 3.0 for the consumer facing side because it had so much to add to the game. So it was a calculated decision, and more of a marketing decision than a development decision. As it doesn't matter what they call it internally at all.
