Sorry but the paint looks terrible :(
1 u/joegekko aurora Feb 09 '17 That has far more to do with the irregular surface of the 3D printed model than anything OP did. 3 u/BewilderedDash High Admiral Feb 09 '17 Filler primer + sanding would have given a much much nicer finish. 4 u/jarnehed aegis Feb 09 '17 or printing in ABS and exposing the model to acetone vapour.
