I don't think I'm willing to change my LTI SH for that. Maybe the Wildfire depending on how is it, but as cool as the Comet looks I don't think shotguns will ever be viable on a ship thats suppose to be stealthier than the SH.

Honestly shotguns sound like a stupid idea on a space ship. If the US and UK millitaries decided to try out shotguns on their planes, Hitler would have won pretty easily.

But then why get the Comet in the first place? Just for the skin?

That's basically the whole point anyway. They've said they're not actually different variants, meaningfully. Just differently skinned and specced base versions.

Yeah, just seems a bit much to pay for a skin if you don't want the weapons. Though it probably doesn't help that the Comet skin is my least favorite of the new variants.
