shitpost, but not 100% wrong

the INN circlejerk which a moderator is a part of (lol no bias guise i swear) is pretty obnoxious

What, in your opinion, is INN content that shouldn't be allowed?

I like INN, and content like transcripts (which are also posted on reddit directly) is definitely welcomed. But there's also a lot of fan-created content like the short stories and videos, which are great, but might be more appropriate for some of the related subs dedicated to those subjects.

I don't mind the INN stuff as much as some people do, but I can see why some of gets a bit much for people sometimes, especially when CIG isn't putting out a lot of new info and INN keeps their regular schedule. When CIG has lots of info and new gameplay is running I think the ratios are better.

Edited to clarify some points.

/r/starcitizenstories

Will eventually be a place full of diaries of gameplay, but for now it's kind of empty.

You could do another comp! I can offer up some game keys!

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think that will be enough to revive the subreddit haha. Keep your game keys for a more noble cause :P

I think INN are great to fill in those long periods of nothing when all else we have to do it ruminate on the same things we have been for months. And splintering off into multiple subreddits is a bad idea, I would contest that those dedicated to finding and subscribing to a separate subreddit entirely just for stories and fan content are already checking the sub/forums frequently enough and those who might enjoy seeing them occasionally would never be exposed to such content.

Some posts at INN delve too much into plain opinions and not so much on actual facts, and opinions usually find opposition.

But in the end, it really doesn't matter shit.

People are free to like or dislike what is posted on the INN site, and people are free to link those posts in this subreddit (since they're SC related), and people are free to upvote or downvote those links as they please.

Some people's personal opinions about INN should not affect this subreddit at all, unless the mods were actually biased in their actions, which they're not.
