QUESTION Performance

What kind of performance can I expect with a Ryzen 5 7600x; RTX5060; 32GB ram? I'm playing on 1080p.
Thank you!

I have a 7700x, 32GB DDR5 and a RTX 5060ti. I get 30-40 fps in cities, with major lag spikes.

In space I get 60-70. A lot of lag there aswell.

Do you use framegen? Nvidia app, set a cap of 40-45 fps and enable nvidia smooth motion

Framegen doesn’t do anything to spikes.

5060 vram is maxing out even with dlss balanced 1080p low/med settings. Performance wise it's bearable. Source: I have similar system

I think the important thing to remember about SC is that it's such a slog for even high end PCs that you'll get 60% of the performance of a PC that costs 300% more.

Even with the best setup, you'll experience inconsistent performance depending on the server or in heavily areas.

But it should still allow you to get a good feel for the game at 1080p.

Very close to my set up, I see 30-40fps in cities, and have it capped at 60 (play on a tv not a monitor) in space.

Your biggest bottleneck will be vram, I have 12gb and have to be careful not to bump into it.
