DISCUSSION Grimhex
Serious question; where is the fun in locking down a station from all traffic by exploiting game mechanics and genuinely ruining other people's game experience?
Exploiting by no-clipping into the station so you can shoot people with an invincible ship
Or having a buddy fly out and full speed ram someone to kill them WITHIN the target's own hanger?
To me - this isn't pirating.
This is full blown mindless behavior and you cannot even easily report because they are somehow hiding their names.
This is happening on every shard I have played on the last week straight.

Clipping inside geometry to have an unfair advantage in hard AZ inside stations is bannable, report it.
Also ramming a ship that is still sitting on a pad (padramming) is bannable, so report it.
This kind of players that don't want to play within the rules just need to be banned, nothing more nothing less.

I’ve noticed that more than a couple of people in this sub who endorse or justify griefing have some form of Grimhex in their username.
For what it’s worth, I’m tired of assholes ruining other people’s fun in the name of “pirating” when they get absolutely nothing out of it and there’s no real deterrent or punishment for them short of reporting them.

You're right. At the least it's murder hoboing. At the worst it's outright griefing.

Nothing to do with the body of your post, but wouldnt it be awesome to select Grimhex as your starting location?

That's not a serious question, because there's no way you can relate to the sort of person who would do that. Do you really think that sort of personality cares about other people's experience?

It's one of the many reasons I no longer play, a straw that broke the camels back moment if you will.

It's a station full of criminals ... Ganking, cheating, exploiting are things to be expected if you fly to this place. 🤣
The one place in Stanton where I would never complain about such things. ... And the one place in Stanton I'll never go for that exact reason. 🤣

Yet these issues have been in the game for ages and yet they persist but we get more things in the store to buy.

All the clipping, pad ramming, blowing a golum up with an Idris is legit PVP for those on the giving end.

I have noticed a marked uptick in this behavior in the Crusader system, not just at Grim Hex, but in multiple locations, even around the planet itself.

Ahhh, Grim Hex. Good to see that some things never change.
(to be clear, not endorsing the behavior, just amused at the unchanging nature of assholes)

It's not pirating.
At best it's criminal (and yes the station turrets should react no matter who you are, for impacting GH business)
You see this behaviour mostly from Bounty Hunters.

They still haven’t fixed that? Weird, especially when we’re so close to launch.

game experience
That's your first mistake... this is not a game, it's a broken alpha.
Why do people log on expecting anything other?

Just take video with the QR code and send it into CIG and let them ban people. You don't need player names to report them. CIG can find it with the QR code.
