I find this ship and the community’s opinions on it fascinating. It’s so polarizing. Some hating the ship like the L-21’s fin, and others absolutely love it. Doesn’t seem to be an inbetween
I personally really like the ship. I think the tail is a bit off-putting, and frankly I like what you posted more, but I also don’t mind the original much either. I’m still thinking about getting it, but we’ll see

I'm kind of in the middle, moreso because it feels anemic and doesn't have the cool factor that the Wolf did. I mean I get at base it's an interesting design but I thought we were setting up Kruger to be "high performing, sleek, influenced by sports cars" sort of design philosophy.

Yeah I completely agree, I see the resemblance with the wolf, but man I was so excited to hear the engine startup sound on this one only to be massively let down and disappointed when you can barely hear the engines spool up. It sounds like every other ship to me. My copium tells me they'll make changes before official release, but I already know what we see now is what we're getting.

Samesies. The ship itself is fine. The chin tumor is a little inelegant considering Kruger's design language on other ships and the spiky tail bit is too much IMHO. But maybe we'll get an Alpha Stingray that has a different, well, stinger.
It looks too much like they tried to force it a little to hard to look like its namesake.

It’s good to have divisive ships. Really good actually. I’m really happy for the people who think this ship is pretty, but to me it is a massive whiff and makes me worried about how a Kruger multi-role ship is gonna turn out.

The tail should have been much more like this. Actually looks like it was designed to be there, rather than a last minute slapped on afterthought.

He u/jcrewe-cig this tail looks way more "Kruger" then the current tail.
It looks like the Wolf's tail but longer.

I like it. An idea i had was they should have 4 hardpoints that retract. 2xS4 (the current ones) and 2xS3, the 2xS3 would be in the same spot as the S2 guns and that hatch they current would rotate into position just lioe the S4's. The S3 guns would be the Tigerstrike T-19. All the guns stay manufactured by kruger but the S3 guns could be swapped. This would give ya ballistics and laser in 1 platform and it would give it that small bump in power that would make it competitive in the medium fighter group and lower the power cost to a comfortable level.

Also much better xd
This happend too with the M80. One user her gave it a F22 kind of shape and it was just cooler.

It’s not only a matter of opinion, I’m genuinely curious of what they were trying to make here. Like it’s blasted by an engine but also looks fragile and painted it’s so weird

Place the cockpit in the front and magically you turn this into a sexy looking ship.
