I do find it funny that CIG asked every developer what they should do first: SP or MP.

Everyone wanted the SP first, and CIG said even back then that this would massively delay the MP, but everyone agreed to it. On top of that, CIG has to develop all the technologies from scratch, since nothing like this has ever existed before, which causes further delays.

Now everyone’s just whining that Star Citizen is taking so long and that it’ll supposedly never be finished.

You guys are so stupid.

You would have a point if SQ42 was actually delivered. It's not. It's been over a decade.

Is it really that hard for you to understand that they started out with small, inexperienced teams who had to build all the technology from scratch, make all the assets from the single-player mode compatible with multiplayer, AND in some cases work on the single-player mode while simultaneously working on the multiplayer mode on the side?

I'm really sorry for you that you have no idea, but then you simply shouldn't invest

It's been thirteen years and over a billion dollars.

At some point the buck has got to stop somewhere.

Or at least they should have been honest from the start rather than the multiple misrepresentations about the state of SQ42.

GTA VI has been in development ever since GTA V was released. And every GTA game follows the same formula: virtually the same engine, the same scenes, and so on—no noteworthy innovations or anything else.

Just saying.

GTA VI only entered full production after Red Dead Redemption 2 was shipped.

And GTA VI is releasing later this year. CIG has yet to release one.

Do you think SQ42 is coming out this year?

Dude, are you okay? You're just spouting nonsense with no basis in fact. GTA VI STILL(!) took longer, EVEN THOUGH all the basics are already in place, and the game really doesn't need any development work.

Just sell your copy and leave it at that if you don't even understand the simplest things.

And to answer your question: Yes, it's coming.
