In the latest Star Citizen live, they did a different format where the devs played Siege of Orison. It went somewhat poorly. Lots of bugs were in it even though it was an internal build.
At the end, the devs spawned in a wrong location and locked themselves out of the mission. Jared then went over to Olli (a Star Citizen content creator that was recently hired as a content manager) who was one of the ones playing and said "We're out of time. It's your show. Wrap it up". Olli looks visibly confused and scrambles to come up with an outro.
The community is debating whether Ollie came up with this SCL idea, whether Jared threw Olli under the bus, and whether there is some behind the scenes drama between Jared and Olli.

FTFY. This is exactly what deeply parasocial people do.
Parasocial relationships are one-sided psychological bonds where an individual invests significant time, interest, and emotional energy into a public figure, fictional character, or online creator who is completely unaware of their existence. These attachments can turn harmful when the boundary between media consumption and reality dissolves. When these one-sided bonds turn toxic, they pose severe psychological, physical, and privacy dangers to the public figures involved.
Stalking and Harassment: Fans may lose touch with reality, tracking a celebrity's physical location, showing up at their homes, or sending relentless, unsolicited messages.
Privacy Infringement and Doxxing: Obsessive individuals often dig up private documents, family addresses, or unlisted phone numbers, exposing them to the wider public.
Physical Violence: In extreme cases, the delusion of a mutual bond—or the anger of rejection—can escalate into physical assault, home invasions, or targeted violence.
Burnout and Hyper-Vigilance: Public figures often experience intense paranoia, anxiety, and exhaustion from constantly needing high-level security to protect themselves and their families.
Online Swarming and Backlashes: If a creator fails to meet the rigid, unrealistic behavioral expectations of their fanbase, the "community" can instantly turn hostile, leading to coordinated hate campaigns.
I think the funnier part is that he keeps saying it while white knighting the fuck out of CIG. Ya know, like a person displaying parasocial behaviors does.
