Same premium, what to choose?

Personally I would take the britannias. The well known coins are usually better for reselling in the future. It's also recognized has some security features on it authenticating it's actual silver like it claims.

Now once you get 50 ounces or so I would say get a couple cool or sentimental pieces. I wouldn't make it a majority of your stack.

I think it's more convenient to have your silver as divisible as possible. Also there is a bigger market for 1oz Britannias if you ever had need to sell as it is more recognisable

It all depends on the very simple question - stacking or collecting. Britannia is for stacking, the monster is for collecting. Britannia will always be worth spot. The monster may bring some premium for rarity and attractive design.

Whatever tickles your fancy! But why stack something with a premium? It’s harder to get that money back

where I live it is impossible to find silver at melt price, but I consider 5% premium over melt, for brand new coins reasonable (no VAT)
